A few words from our U16’s Coach, Jack, following their game this weekend…
“WOW that was unbelievable it's like Christmas has come 10 days early! Simply superb performance from everyone! Massive shout-out to Ollie and Jamie the partnership on the backline was amazing. Dom you took your goal like Cristiano Ronaldo would and got an assist like Messi. Tim well done for being very composed and calm in front of goal.
Ali & Louie that center midfield duo May never be changed you two were like 2 rocks that no one could move, unreal the pair of you!
Nick & Mo, fullback is a very hard position to play but you 2 did it with excellence, did not put a foot wrong and the passing from the pair of you was pure quality.
ED- Made alot of eye catching saves and dictated the backline with real confidence I've never seen a goalkeeper in youth football be so loud keep it up!
Of course, last but not least, a mention for Elliot who played his first game upfront for us! With what was looking like a really tough game on the cards, and not having a full squad on the pitch, you really stepped up to the plate and helped secure that win!
To beat a team like Peacehaven with 10 men on the pitch is a milestone in itself I am so proud of you all. Going from 10-0 defeats to winning 2-1 against a very strong side is amazing! I'm looking forward for the rest of our season and hopefully we can climb the table!!!! What a great confidence boost for them all!!”

MANAGERS MAN OF THE MATCH- MO
PLAYERS MAN OF THE MATCH- DOM, ALI & TIM
What a great journey these boys have had, to come together and rebuild their team this season they have had to put in the work each week and it’s great to see it’s paying off! We are sure they will have more games to celebrate going forward!
We are always proud of the performances our players put out every week but when they have the extra reward of a win under their belt and with not being able to produce a full squad, it is just incredible to see the determination, resilience and grit they have! Well done ?
